Passive Mobs are Mobs that do not attack the Player and endanger them like Hostile Mobs. They mostly spawn during the Day in groups of 2-4, though some Passive Mobs can only spawn under specific conditions.

Trivia

  • Passive Mobs are occasionally referred to as "Farm Animals" or "Peaceful Mobs".
  • As of Update 0.15.0, Passive Mobs can be leashed and led with Leads.
    • Villagers, Bats, and Ocelots cannot be leashed, however.
  • Most Passive Mobs drop many Items that are useful in Survival.
