Update 1.0 |
A Dragon Egg is a Block that was added in Update 1.0.
Obtaining
A Dragon Egg is dropped by the Ender Dragon the first time it is killed. However, when punched by the Player, it teleports to a random location within a 15 block radius.
To obtain it in one's inventory, the Player must break the block beneath the Egg and make it fall onto a Torch or a Flower, or have it pushed by a Piston.
Usage
The Dragon Egg serves as a reward, or a trophy for defeating the Ender Dragon. Being the rarest block in Minecraft Pocket Edition, being only one per world, it is also an expensive aesthetic block.
Trivia
