Dirt is mostly used for [[Farming]] by converting it into [[Farmland]] using a [[hoe]]. You can also use it to make grass path, for if you let it grow into grass and tap it with a shovel it will make this block. However, it can also be used as an abundant building block, or for safely elevating oneself (by jumping and quickly placing the block underneath) as it is easily broken and collected when the player chooses to drop back down to surface level.
