Cows are Passive Mobs that spawn in the Overworld.

Uses

• When a Cow is killed, it will drop 0-2 Leather and Beef.
• Cows can be milked by pressing and holding the Cow, or tapping the Milk button while holding a Bucket. 
• A Cow will drop Cooked Beef if killed with Fire, Lava, a Fire Aspect Enchanted Sword or a Flame Bow.

Breeding

Cows will be attracted towards equipped Wheat. In addition, if the Player holds down on the Cow or taps the Feed button while holding wheat onto an adult cow, the Cow will enter love mode. If the Player does the same to another cow nearby, both Cows will Breed.

Trivia

• Cows were first added to Minecraft PE in 0.3.0.
• Cows started dropping leather in 0.6.0, therefore making it possible to Craft leather-related objects.
• A variant of the Cow, Mooshrooms, were added in Update 0.9.0. When Sheared, they will become Cows and drop 3-5 Mushrooms.
• Since 0.14.0, Baby Zombies can spawn on Cows, creating Cow Jockeys.
• As of Update 1.0 it is no longer possible to Milk baby Cows.
