Trivia

  • Iron blocks are pretty blast resistant, so if you have a lot of iron, you can make a semi-blast-resistant house.
  • Iron Blocks are semi-rare to craft but not as rare as Emerald and Diamond Blocks.
  •  The block can be used as a barricade, as other hostile players cannot mine through it very fast.
  •  In Update 0.12.0 Iron Blocks will be used to make Iron Golems.
