Activator Rails are Redstone-related blocks that were added in Update 0.13.0. They are a type of Rail that can power certain Minecarts using a Redstone Signal, including a normal Minecart. It is also used to eject a mob (including players) from Minecarts. When powered, they act as an activator/ejector, while if not powered, they act as a regular Rail.

- 6 Iron Ingots + 2 Sticks + 1 Redstone Torch => 16 Activator Rails
Trivia
- Bug: They will make the sound of breaking Carpets when broken. (Update 0.13.1)
- They are often confused with Detector Rails.
- Activator rails will ignite Minecarts with TNT.
- When a regular Minecart rides over an Activator Rail, it will wobble. Minecarts with Hoppers, Chests, or TNT will not wobble.
